The Foundational 5 Activities for SEO
We talked about using Google Analytics to measure more than website hits and focus on measuring your business goals.
We talked about how Google Webmaster Tools and the valuable information you can gain by using these tools.
We discussed that when we create content we need to be able to provide the best answer for the questions that our audience is asking Google. We talked about some tools that can be used to discover those questions.
Now that you have content created and know what goals you are measuring it’s time to optimize it. Remember to use that Google Webmaster Tools data to improve what people see before they click, and use the Google Analytics data for after the click.
Finally we discussed Social Media. We talked about the importance of tracking and measuring your social activity with your business goals. By this point you have goals ready to go in Google Analytics. The next piece of the puzzle is tracking your links with a UTM.
