Our staff is passionate about giving back to the communities in which they live, work, and serve. Everyone on the Vivid Image team is involved in different ways, giving of their time, talents, and resources, so that is how we decided to structure how we give to nonprofits and events. When requests come in for donations, our staff who are involved (or wish to be) decide where money is given. Charitable grants are determined by staff who volunteer 25 hours in the community each year in exchange for $250 given to a non-profit of their choice. An additional $250 is given to them to recognize their contribution and the impact they make every day.
Thank you, Jackie for your volunteer work & commitment!
Jackie Kaufenberg, Social Media Strategist volunteered over 25 hours within the first couple months of 2021, donating her time to organizations such as BIO Legacy, St. Mary’s School, and other local non-profits. Jackie is involved with organizations such as being a member of the Education Committee at St. Mary’s School because she wants to set a good example for her kids. “If I am going to a meeting or event in the evening, and my kids ask me where I am going, they know that I am helping make a difference for their school. Since the school is also very focused on service projects and helping others, it is nice for them to see that their parents are doing their part too.
This year, Jackie selected BIO Legacy Foundation, a Southwest Initiative Foundation community partner serving Bird Island and Olivia, Minnesota to be recipients of $250. Jackie is a Board Member for BIO Legacy as of 2021. BIO Legacy Foundation offers grants to non-profits that serve Olivia and Bird Island twice a year in the areas of Education, Recreation, Health and Amenities.
“Over the years, BIO Legacy has supported numerous local non-profits in my community that have made an impact on my family. Everything from adding a dock to the local pond to helping to fund youth baseball and soccer programs, to supporting arts programs through the Bird Island Cultural Center and paying for bus transportation for the St, Mary’s School NY/DC trip… I love how they have such a broad reach to many areas, but within my specific community. I am proud to be involved with BIO Legacy and think it’s great that Vivid Image is contributing to their cause as well.”Jackie Kaufenberg
