My weekly routine it to experiment with new tools and see how they can help my clients grow their business. What do you think of these? A very eclectic mix of tools this week.
Learn Website Programming for FREE
CodeAcademy.com is free online training site to teach you the basics of web programming in a fun and social online environment. They have some great investors in the company, so I look forward to big things happening with this company.
Codecademy was created out of the frustrations Zach and Ryan felt with learning how to program. Tired with less effective text and video resources, they teamed up to create Codecademy, a better, more interactive way to learn programming by actually coding.
SMS Me Your Business Card
It takes a lot of time to add a new contact to your phone. Type in their name, address, phone number, email, facebook, twitter — you get the picture. Fetchly.com is a free service that allows your customers to send a text message or scan a QR code, and get all of your contact information sent right to their phone. Simple and easy. I like that.
A New Approach to Performance Reviews
Today’s workplace requires a new approach to performance management. Rypple is a web-based social performance management platform that helps companies improve performance through social goals, continuous feedback and meaningful recognition.
