Britt & Cegi Team Up to Donate $500
Britt and Cegi started working with the Cultural Centre of Bird Island in early 2023 as part of a MN State Arts Board (MSAB) grant, assisting them with growing regional awareness of their organization through social media and digital ads. In a short time, it’s been exciting to help the non-profit gain 1,000 more followers enabling them to better “call up” artists and events they feature!
Cegi says that “seeing their love of community, desire to grow, and commitment to engage community members” convinced her and Britt to combine their donation to be able to give them $500.
Cultural Center of Bird Island, MN
The Cultural Centre of Bird Island became a 501(c)3 in 2016 and believes the quality of life is enhanced by ensuring the arts are an active part of the social fabric of the community and beyond.
Britt shared “The Cultural Centre in Bird Island does such a great job bringing art and culture to a rural area and the surrounding community. They work hard to engage the youth and provide amazing cultural opportunities for them to grow and learn through art. I hope that they can use this money to create new opportunities & continue their efforts in those areas.” Cegi and Britt personally presented the check to Rosemary and Mark Glesener, originators of the Cultural Centre of Bird Island.
Charitable giving is determined by our staff! Every month one or two Vivid Image team members select a non-profit that means a lot to them. $250 is granted to the non-profit of their choice. Then, throughout the year if staff choose to volunteer at least 25 hours of time, they select another non-profit to receive $250, and the staff member also receives $250 in recognition of their contribution to the community. By the end of this year we’ll have been able to make a difference in the lives of others by donating at least $5,000, and likely upwards of over $11,000!
