Step 1: Sign Up for Rackspace Email
- Visit the Rackspace Email signup page.
- Please note that your username MUST be between 6-16 characters and not contain any special characters.
- You will need to provde a domain during the setup process. Just make up a new domain, don’t use your existing domain as that is already in RackSpace and can’t be re-used.
- Let our transfer team know via email ([email protected]) that your account setup is complete.
- Once the transfer has completed, be sure to go into your account and remove any mailboxes associated with the fake domain you created in step 2 to prevent any unnecessary charges.
Step 2: Accept the Transfer
- Once your account is created, our transfer team will generate an acceptance link.
- Click the link when received to start the transfer.
- Rackspace will then automatically transfer:
- All mailboxes
- All email aliases to your new account
That’s it! The process is handled automatically after you accept the transfer.
