Giving Back is Part of Our Culture
At Vivid Image, we believe our success is tied to the well-being of our community and sometimes that community includes our four-legged friends! Each month, our team members have the opportunity to direct a $250 donation toward a nonprofit that holds personal significance to them.
Karissa Champions Specialized Care for Frenchies
This month, Karissa Gumbusky, Digital Solutions Specialist, has chosen to support French Bulldog Village, a nonprofit dedicated to one of the most beloved yet often misunderstood breeds.
While French Bulldogs are known for their charming personalities, their popularity has unfortunately led to a rise in irresponsible breeding. This often results in dogs with complex medical needs that many owners aren’t prepared to manage. French Bulldog Village steps in to fill that gap, operating as a 100% volunteer-led organization that uses a network of foster homes to provide specialized rehabilitation.
For Karissa, a proud owner of two Frenchies, this mission hits close to home.

I know firsthand how much love these dogs have to give, but I also know the health challenges they face. Because they are such a trendy breed, many Frenchies end up in difficult situations through no fault of their own. I chose French Bulldog Village because they are a smaller, dedicated group where every single dollar goes straight to the vet bills and care these dogs desperately need to find their forever homes.
Join the Village
By focusing on medical cases that other rescues might not be able to take on, French Bulldog Village ensures that no dog is left behind because of a pre-existing condition. Charitable giving is determined by our staff!
Every month, one or two Vivid Image team members select a non-profit that means a lot to them. $250 is granted to the non-profit of their choice. Then, throughout the year, if staff choose to volunteer at least 25 hours of time, they select another non-profit to receive $250, and the staff member also receives $250 in recognition of their contribution to the community.
