It’s important for us at Vivid Image to give back
We want to show our support to the communities in which we live and to the organizations and teams with which our staff are involved.
This month, we are sponsoring two Minnesota Animal Shelters.
Karissa Makes Donation to Animal Ark
Karissa Gumbusky is a Digital Solutions Specialist at Vivid Image, and she has selected Animal Ark in Hastings, MN, to be the recipient of her $250 donation in May. Animal Ark is a Minnesota-based animal welfare organization that works to rescue, rehabilitate, & rehome lost and homeless companion animals in Minnesota every year. Karissa is happy to support their annual fundraising event, Animal Ark’s 3K Walk 2025, by being a Silver Sponsor. The event is held on June 7th in Hastings, MN. Karissa said, “I’m proud to support Animal Ark, a local Minnesota animal shelter, because of their excellent work in caring for and finding homes for animals in need.”

Heart of Minnesota Animal Shelter Receives Donation from Justin
Justin McGuire, Director of Technology at Vivid Image, has selected Heart of Minnesota Animal Shelter to be the recipient of his $250 donation to support their fundraising event, Paws on Parade, which was held on May 10th in Hutchinson, MN. The Heart of Minnesota Animal Shelter is passionately devoted to the care of animals in need by providing rescue, shelter, adoption, and veterinary services in central Minnesota. Justin said, “The Heart of Minnesota Animal Shelter will always have a VIP spot in our hearts—and probably a few cat hairs too—since we adopted our two fabulous felines, Izzy and Lyla, from them two years ago. Their tireless mission to match furry faces with forever homes is pawsitively amazing and such a gift to our community. Keep up the tail-wagging, whisker-twitching good work!”

Charitable giving is determined by our staff!
Every month, one or two Vivid Image team members select a non-profit that means a lot to them. $250 is granted to the non-profit of their choice. Then, throughout the year, if staff choose to volunteer at least 25 hours of time, they select another non-profit to receive $250, and the staff member also receives $250 in recognition of their contribution to the community.
