Deanna Donates to Jack’s Basket
Deanna Schwint is a Programmer at Vivid Image. She selected Jack’s Basket to be the recipient of her $250 donation in October. Deanna chose Jack’s Basket because October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month, and Jack’s Basket celebrates every baby born with Down Syndrome. Deanna shares “Our family received a basket for Joanna while we were at Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis in 2020, and it had a very significant impact on our family as we navigated this new normal. We have since attended several events sponsored by Jack’s Basket including their annual gala to help continue to support Jack’s Basket mission and help celebrate other babies like Joanna.” Jack’s Basket Annual Gala is every October and Deanna’s family will be attending, as they have in previous years. Charitable giving is determined by our staff! Every month one or two Vivid Image team members select a non-profit that means a lot to them. $250 is granted to the non-profit of their choice. Then, throughout the year if staff choose to volunteer at least 25 hours of time, they select another non-profit to receive $250, and the staff member also receives $250 in recognition of their contribution to the community. By the end of this year we’ll have been able to make a difference in the lives of others by donating at least $5,000, and likely upwards of over $11,000!
