The number one problem with email marketing is knowing when to limit your content in order to get the best response. Follow these simple tips to get more efficient results!
Tips to Better Emails
#1: Determine ONE Goal of the Email
Think about the reason you are sending the email in the first place.
DO:
Pick a specific goal for sending:
- Buy a product
- Register for an event
- Announce new service
- Take a specific action
- Follow you on social media
DON’T:
- Have 5 different goals for the email
- Confuse the reader on where to look or what to do next
- Pack too much content into one email
- Lose focus of the email
- Send an email for the sake of sending an email
#2. Provide Crystal Clear CTA’s (calls-to-actions)
DO: Give them “just enough” info to set the hook & click the CTA. Make the CTA super obvious (don’t make your audience have to figure it out)
DON’T: Tell them everything in the email (just provide a sneak peek)
Examples of strong CTA’s:
#3. Drive Them to Real Estate that You Actually OWN (not rent)
DO: Drive your audience to a specific landing page, product page, blog post or video that are embedded on your website.
DON’T: Drive to a social media (unless it’s for them to follow you).
#4. Follow a Template
DO: Design an effective template for each type of email you want to send and use it as your starting point to promote each specific goal that you have.
DON’T: Reinvent every email from scratch.
Remember that your Call to Action is a great way to measure what your audience is viewing and clicking through to take the action. This is an effective way to tell what they are interested in the most so that you can provide more information on those specific topics.
