Step 1: Black & White Layout Options
The first step in the logo process is creating black & white layout options, similar to the wireframe step of a website. Depending on the Logo Package you’ve chosen, we provide up to 5 options that could include combinations of words and icons/graphics, along with a short description of each concept. During this stage, we work with you to create a concept that best represents your company. Once you decide on your favorite layout, we move on to the next step!

Step 2: Mini Styleboards
In the second step, we will apply color to your favorite concept. We will do this through 3-4 different styleboards. Each board will show the logo in color, along with mockups of your logo on common items like a mug and t-shirt. This can help you visualize what your overall branding will look like. The boards will include full color and black & white variations so you can see how they will look on different backgrounds. We want to ensure the colors are the perfect ones for your logo and brand.

Step 3: File Prep
The last step in the process is to provide you with all the different logo files and variations you might need. These include full color, black & white, and reverse color options. You will receive several different file types to ensure you can use your logo on everything you might need for print or digital use: EPS, PDF, JPG, and PNG. You also will be provided with a Logo Spec sheet. This helpful guide shows your logo along with any colors or fonts used within the logo so that you can keep this branding consistent.
