Shannon Donates to Common Cup Ministries
Shannon Streich is a graphic designer at Vivid Image and a volunteer at Common Cup. She helps pack food for their school backpack program. The “Backpack” Food Program is a program to send food home with area elementary school students who receive free and reduced-price lunches to help tide them over the weekend. Shannon selected Common Cup as the recipient of her $250 donation in July, because she “loves their mission of sharing spiritual and financial resources of area churches into one “Common Cup” to minister those in need. They offer so many great programs that assist so many people in our community. I am proud to have been able to volunteer and help them reach more people in need.”
Helping Common Cup Pack Backpacks
Shannon, along with six others from Vivid Image recently helped pack backpacks at Common Cup. It’s an easy way to volunteer and make a meaningful impact in our local community. If you’re interested in volunteering at Common Cup, you can contact them here.
Thank you, Shannon, for supporting Common Cup!
Charitable giving is determined by our staff! Every month one or two Vivid Image team members select a non-profit that means a lot to them. $250 is granted to the non-profit of their choice. Then, throughout the year if staff choose to volunteer at least 25 hours of time, they select another non-profit to receive $250, and the staff member also receives $250 in recognition of their contribution to the community. By the end of this year we’ll have been able to make a difference in the lives of others by donating at least $5,000, and likely upwards of over $11,000!
