Email Migration Instructions

Step 1: Sign Up for Rackspace Email

1. Visit the Rackspace Email signup page.
   • Please note that your username MUST be between 6-16 characters and not contain any special characters.
2. You will need to provde a domain during the setup process. Just make up a new domain, don’t use your existing domain as that is already in RackSpace and can’t be re-used.
3. Let our transfer team know via email ([email protected]) that your account setup is complete.
4. Once the transfer has completed, be sure to go into your account and remove any mailboxes associated with the fake domain you created in step 2 to prevent any unnecessary charges.

Step 2: Accept the Transfer

1. Once your account is created, our transfer team will generate an acceptance link.
2. Click the link when received to start the transfer.
3. Rackspace will then automatically transfer:
   • All mailboxes
   • All email aliases to your new account

That’s it! The process is handled automatically after you accept the transfer.
