We want to show our support to the communities we live in and to the organizations and teams that our staff are involved in.
This month we are sponsoring a favorite local event.
Amanda Makes Donation through Empty Bowls Event
Amanda Caven is a Digital Marketing Strategist at Vivid Image, and she has selected McLeod Food Shelf & Common Cup to be the recipient of her $250 donation in March through their annual fundraising event, Empty Bowls on March 8th. The event is a community opportunity to come together and purchase a locally made bowl that will be filled with a hearty soup. It is to be kept as a reminder of those people who still have empty bowls and need assistance. Proceeds from this event support both the McLeod Food Shelf as well as Common Cup Ministry. Amanda said “I chose for my donation to go towards the Empty Bowls event in support of McLeod Food Shelf, to help provide essential resources to those facing food insecurity in the community. Charitable giving is determined by our staff!
Every month, one or two Vivid Image team members select a non-profit that means a lot to them. $250 is granted to the non-profit of their choice. Then, throughout the year, if staff choose to volunteer at least 25 hours of time, they select another non-profit to receive $250, and the staff member also receives $250 in recognition of their contribution to the community.
