This month, Vivid Image is directing a charitable donation toward the Hutchinson Music Boosters, a group of parent volunteers who support students in the Hutchinson band and choir programs. Their work helps cover the extras that keep these programs strong, from uniforms and equipment to the events that give students a chance to perform.
Heidi Turns 25+ Volunteer Hours Into Support for Young Musicians
Heidi Arndt, Vivid Image Account Director, volunteered more than 25 hours of her time this year, earning a $250 donation to the cause of her choice. She chose the Hutchinson Music Boosters, a group that raises money through efforts like running the concession stand at home football games, student fundraisers, and donations from the community.
The Hutchinson Music Boosters help support the music programs for students in Hutchinson. Both of my children are involved in the music programs and have enjoyed the opportunities they provide. I’ve been able to volunteer my time at a number of different events, from working at the concession stand and helping prep food for Swing Into Spring to volunteering at marching band competitions. I’ve always enjoyed performing music myself, playing piano and flute, so it’s fun to see my children enjoy it and benefit from it as well.

Charitable giving is determined by our staff!
Every month, one or two Vivid Image team members select a cause that means a lot to them, and a donation is granted in their name. Then, throughout the year, if staff choose to volunteer at least 25 hours of time, they select another cause to receive a donation, and the staff member also receives a matching contribution in recognition of their work in the community.
