Google Image Ad Extensions
Google announced during their most recent Marketing Livestream that image ad extensions are now available for use globally within Google Ads. Image ad extensions allow you to show an image next to your search ads to make them more appealing, which can help increase user engagement with your ads. If you choose to utilize image ad extensions, make sure the images are highly relevant representations of what you’re advertising for. It is recommended that both a landscape and square option for each image extension is added. These extensions can be applied at the ad group or campaign level.
While this feature has officially rolled out globally, there are still some accounts that don’t yet have access. You will also not have access to this feature if your Google Ads account is less than 90 days old.
