Have you heard about Farmfest? I had heard of Farmfest and followed the event on social media the last few years. Knowing that many of our clients have been a part of Farmfest over the years, it is something that I decided to attend this year and see for myself what it’s all about. To say that it is a monumental farm festival is an understatement. My best description is that it is like the “state fair of the ag industry”.
If your business or organization is related to the agricultural industry in any way, I highly recommend attending Farmfest. The exhibitors are incredible with their displays, niche market products and services, and cutting edge information and technology. I gained a wealth of knowledge just walking, watching, and visiting with vendors. Depending on your business, you may want to consider having a presence there in future years. It’s a three day event that is estimated to draw about 30,000 people this year. It’s located on a large area of land east of Redwood Falls, MN.
The highlight of my day was visiting Vivid Image clients and seeing their business at the top of their game, watching people interact and ask questions, look (and at times, climb) on equipment, and more. I also FINALLY got to try corn ice cream, which I’ve been hearing about on social media for years. It was quite good, actually, and tasted like vanilla with a hint of sweet corn.
