When you reflect on this past year and the changes in your business and community, what comes to mind? It’s with grateful hearts and a smile on our faces, we share a few 2019 inspiring highlights from the Vivid Image family.
Community Grants
Where donations go is determined by our staff, who are passionate about seeing growth and change in their own communities and around the world. After 25 volunteer hours are logged, a grant is given in their name to the non-profit of their choice. Here’s where money went this year:
Margaret – Jefferson Center “Citizens Jury”
Heidi – McLeod Alliance for Victims of Domestic Violence
Beth – Haiti Kids School
Shannon – Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare
Karlie – HOMES, Homeless in McLeod County
Our Official (and Unofficial) Staff Grew

In August of 2019, our newest Account Director, Lindsey Schwecke, joined our team. She’s jumped right in and has already made her first video to introduce herself.
The rest of the new faces around our office are of the furry variety. Sam is a 12 year old Beagle adopted through Top Dog Foundation by Heidi. He too is sweet, but a bit stubborn in his old age. Beth and Steve got a Shorkie named Tank who spends the majority of his time at the office stealing as many toys, slippers, snacks, and gloves as he can.

And our newest addition is so new, I had to wait to publish this post because she didn’t have a name yet. Meet Lucy, a four month old German Short Haired Pointer, who just joined Kristal’s family.
Hosting, Speaking & Attending Events
In May we hosted the Hutchinson Area Chamber Business Connection at our office and welcomed over 70 people from member businesses who wanted to learn more about Vivid Image and get a tour.
Our entire staff attended Leadercast Hutchinson, while Steve hosted the event, for a day of learning and working on leadership skills.
We took a break to throw axes one evening, along with some hammerschlagen, mini golf and bocce ball. It was great team bonding time together.
The Woodstone Senior Living Team joined up with ours to raise funds for McLeod County United Way for their first ever Kickball Tournament.
During our Weekend Web Challenge, we built a free website and marketing materials for the Tim Orth Memorial Foundation. Our staff spent the entire weekend together, donating all their time to make this happen. Many laughs and shenanigans ensued.
Speaking of Building Websites & More…
We built dozens, upon dozens of new and redesigned websites, refreshed logos, produced videos, sent countless offline marketing pieces to print, designed some fun t-shirts, helped fill events for clients, assisted with hiring candidates for a wide number of industries, and helped clients collect hundreds of reviews. It’s been a creative year!
In a nutshell…
We’re grateful for a year filled with friendships and fun, incredible clients and memorable stories, and communities willing to do what it takes to lift one another up. Bring on 2020!
